3. One of the Gentlemen who is the chief Interpreter in the Supreme Court, the Interpreter of Chinese and French, the Chief Justice etc. express himself thus:-

"We cannot interpret the written language of 'China'

Sir John Smale adds :- "I have to state that a staff of interpreters with a competent head interpreter is a real want."
